Human Resource Manager- Tanzania
Our Client East Africa’s leading Manufacturing Group is currently seeking to fill the Role of a  Human Resource Manager for its Tanzanian Plant. The incumbent a strategic HR Leader responsible for providing administrative support in the identification of Human Resources and administrative priorities within the company develop and deliver people administration strategies and recommend appropriate solutions which support the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion  Recruitment, On boarding, Training, Performance Management, Reward & Compensation, off Boarding and all HR  processes for the company
  • In charge of contracting, staff benefits management and salary review cycle management
  •  Lead all Collective Bargaining negotiations with the UNIONs and ensure the company interests are appropriately taken care of in the final Agreements.
  • Participate in the administration of strategic planning and decision-making of the company in a way that the organization’s human resource strategy is aligned with other business strategies.
  • Provide expert advice and support to managers and staffs on all aspects of people administration
  • Advice the initiation, design and implement strategic HR projects as and when required.
  • Keep up-to-date with legal developments and advice the management ensuring compliance and mitigation of risk factors.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance matters ensuring they meet the requirements of the company policies, legal and best practice employment legislation
  • Ensuring managers and staffs are aware of company administrative policies and procedures and able to operate them effectively and provide support to staff on HR issues as and when required.
  • Ensure that staff are informed and updated on approve key business and organizational issues.
  • Maintain custody of and update employee records ensuring statutory compliance as required.
  • Follow-up and initiate the periodic performance evaluations at supervisory staff levels.
  • Prepare accurate periodic reports as required.
  • Generate timely and accurate reports as required.
  • Comply with company security, health and safety requirements.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the management from time-to-time.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Human Resources Management
  • Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • Must  be a Tanzanian Citizen
  • 6+ years’ experience as a HR Generalist , 3 in HR Management Role in the Mining/Manufacturing environment
    Conversant with the Labor Laws , must have managed unified staff
