DIAMOND TRUST BANK


DTB is looking for capable and qualified individuals to fill the following positions:

Chief Operating Officer (H/Q-1 Post)

Reporting to the CEO and working as a key member of the Banks leadership team, Will take leadership role in building , implementing and overseeing all of the Banks systems, processes, workflows and procedures to ensure maximum results.

Education Qualifications:
i. Post graduate qualification in Banking , Accounting or Finance e.g MBA degree or any other relevant
ii. Professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA

Experience & Competence Required
i. At least 25 years banking experience with at least 10 years’ experience at senior level in various roles including Credit, Treasury, Branch Supervision and Business Development.
ii. At least 5 years’ experience as Branch Manager of a large branch
iii. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
iv. Familiar with application of Technology
v. Strong evaluation, communication, presentation and reporting skills.
vi. Entrepreneurial and commercial Thinking individual
vii. Able to provide advice and cause/effect evaluation to support business decision making on Credit, Treasury and corporate banking Team


Branch Manager (DSM and Kahama)

Reporting to Head of Retail Banking, The Branch manager main responsibility is to achieve branch targets on all parameters and to provide first class customer service and management of the Branch in all areas of the Company business in order to enhance profitable operations of the Branch.

Education Qualifications:
i. Bachelor degree in Banking, Accounting or Finance and or related professional qualifications.

Experience & Competence Required
i. 5 years minimum experience in a managerial position (preferably in a banking environment)
ii. Lending knowledge will be an added advantage
iii. Independent and logical thinker, yet an achiever and implementer.
iv. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
v. Strong evaluation, communication, presentation and reporting skills.


Manager-Sales (Head Office-DSM)
Reporting to Head –Retail Banking, the incumbent will be responsible to provide business justification for the marketing strategy through development of creative tactics.

Education Qualifications:
i. University graduate preferably in Business/Management
Experience & Competence Required
i. 5 years minimum experience in sales/Marketing position in a Commercial Bank.
ii. Strong evaluation, communication, presentation and reporting skills.
iii. Able to provide advice and cause/effect evaluation to support business decision making
iv. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
Marketing Officer (DSM and Upcountry branches)

Reporting to Branch Manager, The Marketing officer is responsible for the coordination and execution of all marketing strategy and networking activities of the Bank to meet the set targets at the Branch.

Education Qualifications:
i. Bachelor degree preferably in Business /Management

Experience & Competence Required
i. Two or three years of banking experience in retail banking and front office banking operations.
ii. Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in banking applications.
